About
I work mainly in the history of philosophy, focusing on nineteenth-century German (primarily Nietzsche) and ancient Greek philosophy. I have also developed interests in Descartes and British Empiricism. My most recent work in the history of philosophy has focused on questions related to metaphysics, epistemology, and the philosophy of perception, but I also have longstanding interests in ethics, aesthetics (tragedy and comedy), and the philosophy of religion.
