I hope to finish up my dissertation at Boston University on attention and perception by Spring 2011. From now to then, my projects:
Continue to run Neuphi, a philosophy of neuroscience group (http://www.neuphi.com)
Organize the second annual IGCC conference (http://www.bu.edu/conscious)
Spend a couple of months at the Centre for Consciousness at ANU (June-August 2010)
Attend ASSC, APA, and maybe SPP conferences
Write up some papers, including one on gist perception, quantum information, thermodynamics and time, and several on attention.
In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, adventurous movies, good food , casual swimming/running, my plants, and good friends.
