About
I am a Boston University PhD candidate with archaeological excavation experience in Greece, England and Israel. My main interests Bronze Age economy, heritage management policy, geophysical prospection for the identification of ancient anthropogenic features, and landscape archaeology.
In 2007 I received my BA from Dickinson College, earning a double major in Archaeology (concentration in Classical Civilizations) and Classical Studies (concentration in Ancient Greek) with a minor in Art History. My senior independent study was the exhibition "Lines in the Sand: Social divisions in the Ancient Near East" displayed from April 13 to August 11, 2007 at the Trout Gallery, Emil R. Weiss Center for the Arts of Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
I am currently working on my MA in archaeological heritage management, which concerns the protection of cultural heritage during armed conflict. My other interests include international heritage management policy, cultural diplomacy, and economic development through sustainable heritage promotion. Exam topics included international heritage management and cultural heritage management during wartime.
