About
Abel Djassi Amado is a PhD Candidate in Political Science. He is currently writing his thesis on language policy and democratic quality in West Africa. His dissertation explores the extent to which the post-colonial language policy hinders people's participation in the public arena. His earlier education includes a BA in International Relations (with specialization in International Cultural Relations), at Technical University of Lisbon, and Political Science, at UMass Boston.
